Ethical Delimma 3
This Delimma talks about 2 girls. Maria and Pam. Pam was always saying that she’s fat but she’s really skinny. Pam had a eating disorder. The school talked to Pam’s parents about this problem, but they said not to do nothing with it. Pam’s mom said that Pam has a dancer’s body and high metabolism. Maria couldn’t bare to watch Pam. She thought Pam will dissapear before her eyes. So Maria wated to do something with it? She is thinking if she will discuss this to another person, or do nothing.
- Do you agree with Maria? Do you think she should tell someone about Pam?
I think Maria should talk to someone about Pam because if she doesn’t no one will know that Pam has a eating disorder. Maybe Pam will begin to be skinier and skinier and finaly vanish or something. If she doesn’t know what to do, the best thing to do is find an advice.
- If so, who do you think she should tell?
Her mom maybe but say to not tell anyone about it. Mom’s might overcomed things like that so ask your mom a advice. Maybe your close friends have some advice, make up a story that’s like the same as what is happening right now and ask quesions.
- What do you think Maria should say if Pam asks her if she told someone?
Maria should lie, so Pam’s feeling don’t get hurt. After she asks that, talk about someting that doesn’t deal with it.
- Have you ever been in a position like this? What happened? Would you make the same choices if you were in that position again?
I have not been in a position like the one Maria is having…..
